Revival takes an integrative and holistic approach to skin care, focusing on the bigger picture when treating our clients. We use only result-driven and science-based products that contain clean, organic, wild-crafted, and research-based ingredients.

Our Mission

Revival was founded with community and the environment in mind. We wanted to build something that focused on improving the condition of people’s skin and the way they felt about themselves, and do it in a way that focused on community by cross-pollenating other local businesses and in an environmentally conscious way.

The whole concept of Mind Body Beauty was based on Jessica’s love for making people feel good, both inside and out. The skin is our largest organ and our first line of defense—why wouldn’t we care for it the same way we do the rest of our bodies? We can’t toss on a hat, throw on a pair of shoes, or wear a flattering piece of clothing to cover up our skin the way we do our hair, feet and bodies. So why neglect what makes a first and lasting impression and strongly affects our self-confidence and the way we feel about ourselves and our relationships? Beauty comes from within, and is radiated out…. Let us help you find your best sense of self, naturally and beautifully.

Our Approach

Revival takes an integrative and holistic approach to skin care, focusing on the bigger picture when treating our clients. We use only result-driven and science-based products that contain clean, organic, wild-crafted, and research-based ingredients.

Although our holistic services and approach to skin care boast a spa-like feel, incorporating plenty of pampering, we take a very therapeutic and result-oriented approach to our clients, to achieve a noticeable change in their skin.

During treatments we also like to include recommendations around nutrition and daily routines to guide you in improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for your skin, from the inside-out.

Our Goal

We understand that there are many options out there for skincare and beauty services, and we are grateful to be trusted and chosen as your beauty gurus, guides and advocates. Just as you have chosen us, we seek a following that value us and the services we provide, and believe in our abilities and expertise… as much as we believe in being passionate and the best we can be at our trade. We are so excited to meet you here at Revival.

Revival strives to keep the most sustainable practices in place for our treatments by using non-toxic disinfecting agents such as hypochlorous acid—a completely natural and safe disinfectant which is actually the same substance your white blood cells produce to fight infection and is 10 times more effective than bleach in killing bacteria. Given how effective it is at killing microbes, viruses (including use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19), pathogens, germs, bugs, spores, algae, yeast, mold and fungi without leaving behind harmful residues, hypochlorous acid is also used for preserving fresh produce and is used in organic farming as an agricultural “wash”.

We also use compostable bags in our garbage bins to reduce use of disposable plastics and utilize reusable goods wherever possible to minimize our consumption of single-use disposables, plastics and other single-use items that contribute to the waste in our land-fills and can end up in our rivers, water streams and ultimately, the ocean. We’re also sure to minimize on waste by using bulk goods and refilling reusable containers for our non-toxic, bio-degradable and clean hand soaps, dish soaps, laundry detergents and other goods (a big shout out to our local refill store in Edwards, Fill & Refill ). Being in one of the most wasteful industries known, we feel it’s our duty to do our part to be mindful of mother earth… just another part of the *mind* portion of Mind Body Beauty.

The Revival Team

Jessica Ballentine, LMA – Owner/Beauty Guru

Jessica is a licensed medical esthetician with over 16 years in the industry. She began her path towards beauty wellness in the San Juan mountains of Telluride after struggling for the first time with her own skin issues, at the age of 21. Her goal was to create a more integrative and holistic approach to beauty and wellness; for mind, body and beauty.  She is striving to change the industries “quick-fix” approach to skin care based on addressing the symptom, and neglecting to get to the root-cause of skin issues.

Jessica’s passion to incorporate nutrition, well-being and sustainability for the environment, as well as science and medical-based treatments, led her to creating what is now Revival, a boutique-style medical day spa. Wanting to break the mold of a clinical and medical setting, her goal is to create a progressive and positive vibe where clients can feel relaxed and taken care of. She hopes you enjoy your experience as much as she enjoys making noticeable and dramatic changes in her client’s natural beauty.

Krissy Evancho, LMA, Beauty Educator

Krissy has been a licensed esthetician since 2008. She spent many years in the spa industry and loved the relaxing and pampering vibe she was able to provide for her clients, but longed for the opportunity to truly address their skin concerns and see a lasting improvement. She worked her way into the medical side of esthetics and hasn’t looked back. Listening and connecting is what she does best. Krissy’s nurturing nature along with years of experience and passion for esthetics encompasses Revival’s mission and approach to skin care, and we are so blessed to offer her expertise! She has been able to take her care to the next level by building relationships that help to strengthen community, something truly important and a core value to Krissy, which makes her the perfect fit here at Revival. When Krissy isn’t caring for her clients, she enjoys spending her free time with her adorable baby boy Cash, and thrives most when exercising self-care through yoga, nature and the outdoors… not to mention cooking delicious and healthy meals for herself and her family. She’s the epitome of mind, body and beauty! We hope you enjoy Krissy’s care as much as we value it….

Lin Monk, Beauty Liaison

Lin has always had a passion for skincare as well as overall personal health and found Revival a place to grow and develop this interest.  While new to the esthetics world, her background is in customer service and she excels at anticipating client needs.  She genuinely cares about each patient and works to ensure they have a positive and memorable experience at our med spa from start to finish.  She has a sweet and cheery personality that spills over to those around her. When she is not at Revival, Lin is spending quality time with her friends, family and her dog Holly.  She enjoys staying active in the winter months by snowshoeing and hiking and camping in the summer.

Bree Pitts, Beauty Liaison

Revival is proud to present one of the newest and most enthusiastic faces of the med spa, Bree Pitts.  A lifelong advocate for health, wellness and beauty, Bree has been caring for people as a healthcare professional for 20 years. Her love of patient care and promotion of wellness has guided her to  a lifelong career as a healthcare provider. After a successful career as a Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Bree feels that her new career as a beauty liaison in aesthetics is a natural progression in her passion of patient care, comfort, and support.  Bree is here for the clients of Revival to hold your hand or even massage your feet if necessary, but also to competently help care for your wellness needs such as PRP withdrawal and to guide you through your Revival experience. Bree’s love of humanity, enthusiasm for beauty, and a lifelong dedication to professionalism and patient care make Bree a welcome addition to Revival. In her free time, Bree loves embracing the outdoorsy Colorado mountain lifestyle with her beautiful son and very supportive and talented husband.

Marisa Selvy, Marketing Director

Hailing from California, Marisa made the pilgrimage to the mountains of Colorado 12 years ago to begin her entrepreneurial adventure by starting a craft brewery. She left behind an advertising agency career in San Francisco to be her own boss and create and develop her own brand from the ground up. Marisa recognized a kindred spirit in Jessica Ballentine – both of them being female entrepreneurs with young children and big ideas, so it was an easy decision for her to join the Revival team as the resident marketing expert. She finds joy in bringing awareness for Revival’s treatments and products that make our clients’s bodies and skin radiate beauty. Look good, feel GREAT, right? Marisa loves getting the treatments on her own face and body so she can speak from personal experience about why they actually yield results and are not just “fads”. She truly believes in the services she is marketing to the public and that integrity goes a long way. Outside of work, Marisa raises two young daughters and is in the process of finally learning how to ski (after living in the Vail Valley for over a decade!).
